The food trucks are usually a good pick.. the lines can get long though. But if you don't want to leave the area, it's very convenient.

The food court in the Hilton gets stupid. If they put the food trucks in the same area, then it's not too bad of an area for having room in line.

I'm fairly new to this forum and this will be my first con ever!   So excited.  I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with pizza delivery to the Hilton.  I have a few friends coming to hang out on Wednesday night and thought that would be easy.

There's really not that many good places to eat in Amaheim beside the norm of chain restaurants....the only thing I can think of is The Original Pancake House which is pretty far from the convention center. Gypsy Den and Healthy Junk are good too and they're not too far...from disneyland that is

I'd call and ask the Hilton front desk. They'll know which pizza places regularly deliver to the hotel.

If anyone has extra time and would like to get "away" I really recommend Trader Sam's at the Disneyland Hotel. It is wonderful. Themed to a tiki bar with great drinks and decent food. It's a real fun experience.

The food trucks were great last year. Really enjoyed Tasting Spoon and have heard that Viking Truck is very good.

My Samwise and I ate at Tiffy's on the corner of Katella and West 2 years ago during Wondercon. We split one meal and one dessert, and had a nice time. Large portions, and leftovers. I am surprised at the bad reviews posted. I'd try it again but with a more critical eye.

WONDERCON 2017 TOUCAN TIP OF THE DAY! #25: The Food Trucks Are Back at WCA 2017!

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Yep … the million-dollar question has been answered: that glorious array of food trucks will once again be present on the Grand Plaza at WonderCon Anaheim, right outside of the Anaheim Convention Center! This year’s group includes 15-count ‘em!-15 great trucks!

Scheduled to appear this year (line-up is subject to change):

Barcelona On the Go (Latin Bistro)
Burger Monster (Gourmet Burgers & Sliders)
Chunk & Chip (Craft Ice Cream Sammichs)
Cool Crave (Italian Ice and Other Desserts)
    Devilicious (Gourmet Sandwiches)
    Falasophy (Falafel and Hummus Bar)
    Kala (Artful Mexican Cuisine)
Meat Up BBQ (Smoked Comfort Food)
    My Delight Cupcakery (Cupcakes)
Slummin’ Gourmet (Modern Bistro Fare for the Streets)
Spudrunners (Fries, Baked Potatoes, and Grilled Cheese)
    Tasting Spoon (Gourmet Sandwiches)
    TJ’s Woodfire Pizza (Woodfire Pizza)
Viking (Sausage, Corn Dogs, Hot Dogs)
    White Rabbit (Filipino Fusion)

Plus don’t forget the food vendors inside the Anaheim Convention Center, both in the Exhibit Hall and scattered throughout the lobbies on all 3 levels, and in the Arena!

In addition to the food in the Anaheim Convention Center and the food trucks outside during WonderCon, the show’s headquarters hotel, the Hilton Anaheim adjacent to the Convention Center, has a food court-which includes Sbarro, Baja Fresh Express, Just Grillin’, and Submarina-as well as a Starbucks, Mix Restaurant, and Mix Lounge. As the official headquarters hotel, the Hilton is also home to nighttime Games, Anime screenings, and the Hospitality Suite on Friday and Saturday nights. Stop in and enjoy the Games area on the second level in the Pacific CD Ballroom or relax with your friends at the Hospitality Suite on the fourth level, in the Avila and San Simeon rooms. Look for nighttime Anime screenings on Friday and Saturday, also on the fourth level in the El Capitan rooms. Please wear your WonderCon Anaheim badge for entry.

Also adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center is the Anaheim Marriott. This hotel features the nFuse restaurant, bar, and lounge, a Pizza Hut, and a Starbucks.

Next to the Disney theme parks is the Downtown Disney area. This group of shops, restaurants, and a multiplex movie theater is open to the public without a theme park admission (although you’ll have to pay for parking). There are numerous options for quick snacks and beverages, or enjoy fine dining in one of their many restaurants. Downtown Disney also includes a huge World of Disney store, stocked with a wide selection of Disney souvenirs and memorabilia, as well as other shopping options.

Right down the street from the Convention Center is The Shops at Anaheim GardenWalk, which features Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory, Fire + Ice Grill and Bar, Grasslands Meat Market, House of Blues Anaheim, Johnny Rockets, Kip Barry’s Cabaret, McCormick & Schmick’s Grille, McFadden’s Restaurant & Saloon, P. F. Chang’s, Roy’s, and Sockerbit Sweet & Swedish, plus numerous shops and a multiplex theater.

The area around the Convention Center-Katella Ave., West St., Harbor Blvd., and Orangewood Ave.-also features numerous restaurants and shops.
Click here for info on how to buy your WonderCon Anaheim 2017 badges!

Badges are available online only and will not be sold onsite at the Anaheim Convention Center.
