Conflicts for Thursday?
« on: July 04, 2013, 11:39:05 AM »
Without disecting the list, i'm not seeing a huge conflict

In other words- there's no question where my son will be for the Halo, Blizzard & Batman Arkham panels....

Yeah, I'm not really seeing much conflict for my son or myself.  I'm sure the Nerd HQ panels will add a little bit to the mix, but am pretty sure where I'll be.

Sherlock & Hannibal: When to line up?
« Reply #4 on: July 07, 2013, 06:27:51 PM »
The B20 Sherlock (2:15) and sitting at the front half of the Hannibal Panel (6:45) are my Thurs. priorities.
Concerned for Hannibal given 6A’s size and  preceded by a Hobbit related, Kirkman, pilot screening etc.

Any suggestions for when to line up for both?
I was hoping to squeeze in a meal/convention floor between the two. Appreciate any guesses and guidance.

I was pretty surprised at the size of the room for Hannibal. I thought it would be at Ballroom 20. That being said I also hope to get into the Hannibal panel, but I'm a little worried about getting in because another priority for me is Ender's Game that ends at 4.50pm.

Workaholics v. Sherlock, but based on crowds i'm probably hitting the laid back crowd at Workaholics.

This seems to be my only dilemma, too. I'll be opting for the offsite event because it's already paid for, but
I'm hoping I get a chance to catch the panelist later in the weekend...

Looks like we'll miss Workaholics and Blacklist because of signings.  Hope we can make it over to Anything Goes @ 5pm.

6A is packed on Thursday. I want to get into the Ode to Nerd with Chuck Palahniuk at like 1:45 and just room camp until the Hannibal panel. It's a pretty good line-up. Palahniuk, the screening, TWD, The Hobbit, Hannibal.

Aw man, I don't know if I really want to stand in line early for the Ballroom 20 lineup on Thursday just to see the X-Files panel at 3:30pm (just not that into any of the other shows before the X-Files panel).  And actually the Hall H line-up isn't too bad for Thursday (Ender's Game, the Terry Gilliam movie) What to do, what to do.

This may be the year I avoid the Ballroom 20 line and line up for the Hall H lines on Friday and Saturday.
