Starting this thread for random Funko talk not related to their SDCC presence (or their subscription boxes). There is an old thread out there, but I thought I would start a new one with Off Topic in the title.

For the beginner OOB (out of box) collector-Fugitive toys just announced their damaged box sale that they do from time to time. $100 for 18 Pops. I did it once and got some real gems, and no Pops that were damaged (in fact, most of the boxes were in decent shape). It doesn't sell out as fast as the F-Box used to, but they do go fairly quickly.

Put one in your fridge so when your hungry you see him. 

I am not an avid collector and I have a ton of them, space is definitely an issue.  I with the boxes were designed so I could hang them from my ceiling.

I've got a pretty big closet in my office at home and I plan on taking off the doors and building shelves to display all my Funkos.  My collection isn't huge yet (probably 50 or so), but I have a feeling it is going to grow significantly over the years.

The same has happened to me before. And I thought the same exact thing!

It did go pretty fast. You should see how fast the F-Box used to go It was a monthly mystery box with Funko, etc. They had to stop doing it because people sent their employees death threats on social media, etc. when they sold out so fast (just takes a few bad apples to ruin it for everyone). I got a lot of them because I have them on notify on Twitter. I think they were so popular because they often had exclusives, and not necessarily Fugitive Toys exclusives.

I think my collection is at about 250+ DH put up the perfect size shelves in the bedroom and I have them all on display. I keep trying to talk myself into freeing them, but then I would want to save the boxes, and I definitely don't have room for that! I don't know why-I have no plans to sell them, I just follow a lot of fandoms, and they provide a lot of fandoms, so it is the perfect storm!

Who went for the Hot Topic Mystery Pops today? I ordered mine online, so I won't know how many duplicates I got for a few days. :) I have seen people on Facebook that bought multiples and got quite a few duplicates.

I ended up buying 3 at my local Hot Topic and got 2 Stingray and a Slapstick.  My Slapstick has some imperfections on the box which bums me out, but I'm pretty OCD so I'm sure it's not horrible.  I went back after work to talk to an employee and I guess several people bought 15 each right when the store opened.  I'm sure they loaded up on the "heavier" boxes so I probably had no chance when I bought mine.

That was my first exclusive hunt that isn't related to SDCC and I must say I'm hooked!  Good luck and hopefully you get the whole set!
