Digital Comics, what platform?

(1/2) > >>

kappolo:
I was thinking to move to digital comics soon. For the ones I don't really need a paper copy.
I have too much paper comics around that I don't know what to do.

What platform do you suggest?

Bert Su:
Smartphone, because it's the easiest to carry around.

Do most of the publishers have their own app now? I assume Marvel and DC will each push out comics only on their app. Are they in the same format to be read with other apps?

Bert Su:
No, only the big 2 have their own app. And yes, all the comic book apps can access your comic book collection in comixology.

I was thinking to get a tablet, either nexus 7 or the new ipad.
I have comixology app on my smartphone but I would like to read it better on a tablet.
Are any apps (not comixology based) that you could suggest?
I'm trying to see my possibilities and get some user experiences before deciding
