Panel Speculation for 2020 SDCC
« on: November 22, 2019, 02:48:31 PM »
It's early, I know, but it's fun to speculate to what could be at 2020 SDCC. What TV Shows / Movies do you think will be attending next year?

I'm hoping for:

Bill & Ted Face the Music

Stranger Things

10 year anniversary - Scott Pilgrim

MCU

I would like to see a mystery panel...a total surprise panel, with special guests and a nice secret swag item!  ;)
It is 2024, and I am still asking...where's my flyin' car??!! @fannishmarcia

Echoing your hope for a Stranger Things panel. I missed the one in 2017 and have been kicking myself ever since. Also, off the top of my head, hoping for a Locke & Key panel and a Shadow and Bone panel, since Netflix is slated to release those respective first seasons next year.

Superman & Lois

Possibly something for the 40th anniversary of Empire Strikes Back?

It was easily one of the most entertaining panels in a long time.  Patton Oswalt should really get the job of moderating every Saturday Hall H panel forevermore

Hoping for a panel for Joss Whedon's The Nevers, his new HBO show.

I'm hoping for Lucifer and Brooklyn 99. Very curious if any of the D+ MCU shows will have panels.

I am hoping that Orville will be back to promote their 3rd season on Hulu in late 2020.

Might just have a Marvel (MCU) panel that'll include the MCU D+ shows.

I can see that since I think Falcon/Winter Soldier will probably be the only one with any footage ready to go. As Marvel/Disney gathers more infinity stones, it'll be curious to see how they start handling panels!

Well, I think I can amend my panel wishlist to just Shadow and Bone and Stranger Things since Locke & Key got a release date announcement of 2/7/2020 on Twitter today.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ At least we get to watch it sooner.

Can they put 99 in a bigger room?! I went the first time in Indigo but missed last year.

They should for sure. I sat in that room all day last year to be sure I got in for B99!
