Upper-upscale hotel in Little Italy, and looks to be very expensive.
Their website lists parking at $52 per night.  :o

Yep, looks expensive [member=3710]SteveD[/member]! Although the $52 parking is on par with some other DT hotels...I think Hilton Gaslamp parking is $50.

I was excited for a moment because my two favorite sdcc hotels are Hiltons (Gaslamp and Bayfront), but this is... way too fancy pants.  Like Bayfront feels too fancy pants sometimes.  And also it's kind of far (for me, the lazy person who must be con adjacent because I'm spoiled now).  I can see this working for industry folk though.

$50/$52 for parking a night  ??? Going to SDCC is starting to become less, and less attainable  :-[

It sure can seem that way sometimes! As far as hotel parking, a lot of our members have found that they can park their car at the airport for a lot less money, then take an Uber or Lyft to downtown. If you’re staying at a downtown hotel you really don’t need to have your car nearby...it’s nearly impossible to drive in the Gaslamp during SDCC anyway.

Woah, $52 bucks per night is a bit steep.  But sadly, that's one thing you can usually count on:  Expensive prices at new properties.

You know, that's a great idea! I'll keep it in mind if we ever have a car during the con there. As you said though, if we get a chance to stay downtown, we usually don't have a car. Typically we have flown into LA to see family/friends and driven a rental car down. So, luckily, we can just return the rental car for the duration of the con without having to pay for the parking fees  :(
