Does anybody have an ideas about how to score one of these before Christmas without a 400% markup? I hate when companies throttle production for the buzz, ugh.

check this site at night, and then in the morning and see what changes there have been. if you local target shows they have a few, go as early as you can in the morning and wait outside and they will give you a ticket to get one.

It says "In Stock: 5%". I'm not sure what that means!

the % is not important, just look at your local targets and see what kind inventory they before you go to bed, and when you wake up.

Tried a few times and been keeping an eye out. Zero luck. Wish there was a way to check Toys R Us and Gamestop inventory akin to what brickseek does for Target and Walmart. :/

We first heard the whispers of a rumor last week, and now it has been confirmed: Toys R Us will be releasing inventory of Hatchimals this Sunday for $69.99 at select stores starting at 8:00AM when they open.

We received another heads-up last night from an anonymous source claiming to have seen this Sunday's ToysRUs weekly ad, who also hinted that the Nintendo Classic Edition Mini NES may surface for $59.99 in some stores this weekend! We were able to verify this with our local Toys R Us ad, which confirmed both the Hatchimals and the NES Mini will be in stock there this weekend.
Employees from a Santa Cruz ToysRUs posted a video on Instagram confirming their store is one that will be participating. They also mentioned using a ticket system to dole out their inventory, sort of like Black Friday wristbands. We hope that other stores will be following the same practices.

Keep in mind that there will be a strict limit of one per person. Unless you can get some insider information from your local store, keep an eye on your weekly flyer, since Hatchimals will only be at select stores. We recommend getting in line early at your local Toys R Us on Sunday morning if you're interested!

Don't live near a Toys R Us? We're also hearing rumors from trusted sources that Target will have Hatchimals this weekend, too. We'll let you know once we can confirm or deny that, but in the meantime, we'll be keeping our car keys in hand and our Hatchimals money ready to go!

Are folks over this item now that the holiday stretch is done?

How about a slight remodel into a "Retro Gaming Systems" thread for Nintendo / Atari / Colecovision discussion? :)

I still check every now and then, but don't know if I will actually grab one when they do come available. Problem might be that I remember playing those games back in the day and am quite happy at how gaming has progressed. :)
