Today, her name is Joye Murchison Kelly and she is this year's in-person recipient of the Bill Finger Award for Excellence in Comic Book Writing. In this special, historic event, she makes her first appearance ever on a comic convention panel, where she'll be interviewed by historians Trina Robbins and Mark Evanier. You don't to miss what may be your one-and-only chance to hear her speak about writing the adventures of the Amazon Princess, helping create the mythology of Wonder Woman, and working in Dr. Marston's office alongside him and Wonder Woman artist Harry G. Emilio Soltero, Ph.D. (John Buscema: A Life in Sketches; Draw the Line) presents a primer on drawing the figure for popular media, including drawing for comics and character design, joined by Lauren Echevaria (artist), Elisabeth Echevaria (panel model), and Jyhjong Hwang (panel model). The focus will be on anatomy and figure drawing. Emilio will lecture and demonstrate on figure drawing. Lauren will demo a portrait. There will be time to draw as well. Professionals and beginners are welcome. Bring your drawing supplies to draw models/cosplayers during this interactive presentation.

It's a fun hands-on, time-warping, intergalactic, magical, middle-earth, and sci-fi "superhero-like" ukulele sing- and play-along. Characters are welcome. Interpretive dance and air ukulele are encouraged. There will be a number of ukuleles on hand for use (while they last), and the songs will be projected onto a screen for everyone to follow along.
