I love that they just do them all at once. Super happy about Supernatural, Black Lightning, and Legends! (Yay for the others, too, but these are my favorites)

The Magicians was also renewed (or is this old news, I have been out of the loop).

Jack Ryan has been renewed for Season 3. Yup 3!

The series format for the JR saga is better compared the movies aside from Red October (my favorite).

History Renews 'Project Blue Book'

We have been enjoying this show. I like the format and the part at the end explaining the actual case that inspired the episode.

They have great stunts in the series overall. It is my fix for 24 since that is gone (for now...lol). This season has been great so far. How can one pass up action sequences like the all-out brawl in an apartment (s fee of those), the car chases with gunman shooting from the windows of the cars, the explosions, people falling from buildings, and much more.

With the shooting location being in Asia it also helps add something different visually and culturally.

Rumors have been circling around for a few weeks that the Crisis Earth will be an end for some of the Arrowverse series.

I have my suspicions Arrow will not be the only one but the decision may be a combination of creative / contractual / longevity matters coming together.

It could also serve as a springboard for other series to take over like Batgirl and other properties with fresh heroes and villains for fans to enjoy.

I haven't watched it, but this will help :)

Beginning this fall, all YouTube original programming will be available for free — with ads, of course. Season 2 of Cobra Kai will begin streaming for free starting Sept. 11, with one episode dropping each week. Season 1, however, will only be free for two weeks, from Aug. 29 to Sept. 11.

Nice! I did the free trial to watch Weird City but I can't afford to pay for another streaming service so this is awesome.

The NBC schedule has been released.

Manifest will return mid-season.

Brooklyn Nine Nine has a smaller order but I think there can be a move to expand as the fall shakes out.

This is Us has been renewed for 3 seasons!!! This is a huge order and huge vote of confidence in the series.

No new genre series of note except Zoey’s Playlist but that is borderline - like God Friended Me on CBS.

ABC snatched a pilot from NBC called Emergence. Waiting for ABC’s scheduling news.

I let myself get into "The Rain" last weekend.  As a rule I tend to avoid series as it takes up too much of my time and movies that require reading subtitles.

I ended up binge watching the entire Rain series from start to the final.  I wasn't sure what to expect.  I got into it as it follows a group of Danish kids surviving a world wide pandemic.  Fortunately our for real pandemic isn't as severe.  I found survival elements similar to TWD/FTWD and even a bit of Z Nation in this series.

Cobra Kai has a 3rd season coming January 2021 and a 4th season has been greenlit.

If any of you haven't checked this show out, definitely give it a watch. I didn't expect much considering it started on Youtube. Figured I'd watch it since it made it to Netflix and was blown away.

It's a good show in it's own right, but certainly a must see for anyone that watched and enjoyed the Karate Kid movies.

"Staged" was renewed for a second season. Season 1 was made in quarantine - David Tennant and Michael Sheen play fictionalized versions of themselves, who decide to rehearse a play so they'll be ahead of the curve when theatres reopen. Features some great special guests as well. It's only 6 25 minute episodes and is available on Hulu if anyone wants to check it out

"Evil" will get a season 3 on Paramount Plus!

Has anyone been watching season 2? Its move to streaming has allowed it to get quite a bit racier (an F bomb was dropped in the first episode), and I'm really loving it so far. I had to rewatch season 1 since it had been so long, but that just reminded me how much I enjoyed it.
