I'd say there's a decent possibility.  Last year they were hyping TMNT quite a bit, giving out free hats and other stuff: the new cartoon I think, but they still had a sizable presence.

Sounds like we can expect them then. :-/

I really, really, really want to catch the Hobbit 2 panel.

I'm with you there -I've been obsessed with all things Tolkien for a very long time.  In my early teens especially, oh, did I just want to be able to leave this world and go be an elf in Middle Earth.

Last year, I agonized over trying for Hall H for the Hobbit panel, but it was scheduled so late in the day and what preceded it was of far less interest to me.  I couldn't justify getting up that early and giving up so much of the day to sitting in Hall H to see it.  I'm hoping this year will be different...

I wouldn't count on it being all that different, if anything the lineups might be less interesting as the Saturday lineup for Hall H was pretty great in most peoples estimation. Action, sci-fi, animation and comic book movies are pretty standard on the  Hall H lineup and the line starts forming very early.

LB, I think it's more than likely that Warner Brothers will have its late-afternoon spot again (as they have during previous years) so it would be another all-day time investment to see stuff from Hobbit 2. Of course, depending on what else is going on that day, you might find it worthwhile.

Does anybody else think they might actually have a screening of Pegg/Wright/Frost's "The World's End"? It'll already be out  in UK cinemas, and Wright's had full on screenings of Scott Pilgrim and Attack the Block in years past...

I am betting (and hoping!) they'll screen it. Those guys are all about fan service :D

Edgar Wright tweeted this morning that they'll be there:

If I got to meet Simon Pegg, all would be right in the world.

Yes, what precedes it would be a major factor -last year, if I recall, it was mostly TV shows I'd never seen.  Not that it isn't fun to be exposed to new things but... Sigh, the eternal Con dilemma: so much to do -happening simultaneously- and hard choices to make (one of them being to "Do I want to be awake and sitting on the ground at 4 am?")

Nobody wants to be sitting on the ground at 4 am, that's why portable fold out stools are your friend.

The cool kids just lay on the grass and pass out.

My dream movie panel would be one for Nikkatsu's live-action "Gatchaman" movie that's hitting theaters this August -but in Japanese and only in Japan, so I think it's very, very unlikely to happen.

I'm honestly not sure if I there would be enough room to spare in my luggage -every year, it's so close (space and weight).

So you did -and it made the ground clean and dry.   :D

Heh, I did sort of do that (I was kind of asleep)...  as this pic from TJ's camera demonstrates.

Forgive my ignorance, but would the upcoming DC universe film plans be rolled into the WB/Legendary panel? If so, seems like it'll be pretty jam-packed!
