Supernatural, it's over. (NO SPOILERS)
« on: November 14, 2020, 10:00:54 AM »
I watched it from the start to the end over all these years.  Granted my interest in it waned over the years and I only watched it when there was nothing else to watch.  I didn't realize that this week was the series finale until the very end of the episode and they ran the cliche series finale montage.  It had quite a run.

There is still one more episode left in the can! I’m really intrigued by this since, for all intents and purposes, it seemed like this weeks episode was the series finale.

End credits also said “stay tuned for scenes from the upcoming finale”.

Maybe it’ll just be some kind of clips show, interviews and such?

From what I read it's one of those reflection episodes with interviews.  I was bummed I didn't think it was the last one and then you get to the end.

I just cried for the last 24 mins of that episode.  Last week felt like the end and I was not prepared for this week.  When I looked up the episodes it said cast recap so I give them kudos for keeping it a secret.  You are not allowed to view links. It was a surprise.  Last week was a traditional series finale.  I like the real ending this week.  There's no doubt as there are with many series finales.  It's done.

There also is that cast recap episode.  It's episode 101.  There are 2 hours of Supernatural this week.

The recap was the one I read about so it threw me off guard when I got the real episode.  It was well done and I appreciate that it was a true ending.

Though we know how it goes if later down the road there is money to be made they can undo everything.

Watching the recap, it's striking how young every one looked when this all started.  All except for the guy that plays Bobby.  He looks the same.
