[member=2735]Blubutterfly505[/member] Hmm. I checked last year's list and there were 11. Looks like the missing two are Doubletree by Hilton Mission Valley and San Diego Marriott Mission Valley. Maybe they'll pop up later? (I have no idea, I've never done early bird.)

There’s are a  couple more missing like the other The  Doubltree by Hotel Circle.  I stayed in MV and preferred  it over downtown as it easier to a table at a restaurant for dinner.

i've never done early bird either. By chance do you know if they need to have a Comic Con badge in order to book the Early Bird rooms? My parents 50th Wedding Anniversary is on Wednesday, July 17th and my kids are trying to convince them to come to San Diego so we can celebrate out there.

No, you don't need a badge. :)

[member=2735]Blubutterfly505[/member] Historically, you've never needed a badge to reserve ANY Comic-Con hotel rooms. It looks like that's the same (at least for now) with Early Bird. I just clicked through all the way to the payment page and there's not even a field asking about it.

Last year the "changes" date was 4/25/18 for early bird... but Hotelpocalypse was 4/4/18. Are we thinking 4/3/19?
I'm betting on April 3!! Right after WonderCon!

Hmm. That would be RIGHT after Wondercon. I think I'll change my guess to 4/10/19.

Sigh, another week later.  :(

You're probably right, semi! The sale wasn't right after WonderCon last year, but the following week.

This looks like the end date...

Name changes and adding nights to your stay will be accepted through onPeak up to April 25, 2019.

Ah, I was skimming too fast and missed it.  Yes that looks like it could be it.

4/3 or 4/10...I've set it up so I'm "working from home" both days, just in case :)

I am going to be working a new job so it will be hard this year.  Open workspace also!  I am just going to tell them I am taking lunch at 9:30-10:30 am!   Worried about there system blocking it but no place I have ever worked at before has blocked them.

Ugh what timezone is this in?  Pacific where the con is?  Because I might get away with waking up early to do it or being slightly late to work.

Yes, it's always Pacific time. Historically it's usually at 9am.

Ugh that's the worst.  That's 7am my time which is smack dab in the middle of my commute time.  Need to figure out if I head out to work early that day or stroll in late.

Is it possible to book it and then transfer the booking later on?

Terms say the booking is non transferable, but it says name changes are allowed until April 25, 2019. Isn't that a contradiction? Couldn't you use a "name change" to transfer the room to someone else? Or perhaps the original credit card must be used and/or the original booker must be one of the people attending?
