What are the chances that on peak will send out emails on Monday still saying the sale is going to be on Wednesday, April 10 just to mess with us?

Any other hotels do club level services?

I wouldn't put it past them to announce on Monday!

The answer is no, most if not almost all do not know. I can't answer why I know that, but I assure you, most do not know. I'm guessing the members of the CCI Committee know or have an idea. But that is about it. The rest are in the dark.
@jonathan, my apologies if my post came across a little aggressive. Not my intent at all, was actually just joking. After reading over it, even I was like, “dang Trav, chill out”. That’s what happens when people use social media on 3 hours of sleep. My bad.

I think we're all getting a little on edge with hotels so late. We're getting close to as late in the year as Hotelpocalypse has ever been. :(

I remember it was in February, one golden year long long ago...

I know realistically that OnPeak *should* have everything transferred to the hotels two weeks in advance, but it looks like they had some minor hiccups with WonderCon deposits and initially with Star Wars Celebration. With SWC this coming week, it makes more sense to me to wait until that is finished before the massive SDCC sale.

That being said, OnPeak rarely makes sense so a short notice before a same-week-sale wouldn't surprise me. I also wouldn't mind it - I feel like shorter notice may be a slight advantage to [we,] the hyper-planners.

OnPeak runs the Celebration hotels too? I was hoping that since ReedPop is for-profit they'd be able to spend more and hire someone marginally competent. :-(

@TravT77
Been there and done that in reference to 4 hrs sleep and either posting, making decisions, or worse, buying stuff and then seeing it the next day and praying you can return it, lol
A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting”

Wondercon, SDCC, Comikazi, Blizzcon, SWCA, D23

Huh? LOL Who said it was aggressive? If I didn't know what was going on, I'd think the exact same as you! I had to go back and re-read your post, and still see no aggression. So you're all good. I was just letting you know that I'm sure most CCI staffers wish they knew the dates as well.

OnPeak runs NYCC hotels, too, so I'm not that surprised.

Based on history, there would be some notification the week before the sale, but it seems that anything can happen these days.
I would assume that if we don't hear something today, or tomorrow the latest, it will be highly unlikely they would have the sale this week.

I loved staying at the MGH as well. You can add club level at a later time if you didn't get in via the hotel lottery. That was a nice way of saving in regards to not going to restaurants. They provide breakfast, snacks for lunch, and entree's for dinner when you go back and forth via hotel. Later at night they also do desserts and wines.

That sounds awesome! thanks! :)

But what's club level? I only see they have Member level , Discoverist level, Explorist level, and Globalist level.......
