I'm disappointed we can't pick IMDB Boat as one of our choices.

Here's my list:
San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina
Hilton San Diego Bayfront
Manchester Grand Hyatt
Omni San Diego Hotel
San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter
Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter

We have stayed at Bayfront and MGH before, so we're hoping to try MMM but we'll take anything nearby at this point!

I have no problems telling anyone my Top 6. Why? Because there's going to be tens of thousands of people trying for every hotel. It's not going to matter if I tell people my choices.

Did you quote the wrong post my dude?  Seems like you quoted my lady friend post but were responding to something completely different.

A PSA for anyone considering the Moxy -- it looks cool, but just be aware the rooms are all 140 square feet.

what qualifies as a duplicate form?If you and a roommate submit a form and use the same occupant names and address do those count toward a duplicate form ?

In my head that doesn't feel that small. But I googled it and yikes that is astronomically tiny.  How do they even fit a bed in that  ???

We don't know for sure.  We believe it's names, addresses, possibly phone numbers.  I've been flagged for first and last name before.  Others have been flagged for other things.

One of my friends who usually goes to SDCC with me has to cancel this year because there's a vacation freeze at her work because of the timing of a big project she's involved with - I feel really bad for her.

My work freeze (approx. the third week of July every year) supersedes any sort of vacation freeze that might happen at my work place during that time.

I don't even know what happened? Yeah just disregard it. If you ask me what happened, I have zero clue.

I'm not sure either. :o It might work for people who are just going to look around, but not for anyone who plans to bring stuff back. One year for ECCC I stayed in a room that was 190 sq feet, and that was bad enough. There wasn't even enough space to open up a suitcase on the floor...I had to sit it on the bed in order to open it.

I'm headed to Europe in June. Most of the hotels and the rooms they offer are in the 140 sq ft range. I think we're lucky and I guess it's a first world problem that here in America, we expect larger rooms. But yeah, no clue how ANYONE in America, Europe or elsewhere can fit multiple people in a 140 sq ft room.

Having just gone to London and Paris late last year, I now know all about tiny hotel rooms. Normally, I don't really care how small or big the room is (though big is a nice perk), but this is SDCC, and usually I'll be picking up a ton of swag, which I usually have laid out all over the place and only organize / stow away right before packing up to leave.

That actually makes Marriott Gaslamp & Westin Gaslamp two of my top choices, since the rooms I've stayed in at both have been very spacious with enough room to spread out the swag all over the place.

Good luck tomorrow everyone! I'm late to the hotel-thread party. Naturally my anxiety level has increased about a zillion percent since receiving the hotel email. I'm a believer in repeating the juju (which tends to work for me in hotel sales) however this year I am working in LA this week so I'm without my natural surroundings nor internet meaning I'm probably getting assigned a hotel room somewhere in Tijuana or the 3rd tent to the left by the train tracks haha.

I googled it and there's a ton of pictures of micro homes this size.  My dorm room was bigger than this. For serious.  This is microscopic.

That said, I've done my fair share of hosteling and I've slept in what basically amounts to a bunk bed in a closet.  But yeah, SDCC is a different beast.
