I had 4 sessions going and I had to do a CAPTCHA check on all of them right after 9AM. I'm not thrilled about it because I think it impacted how quickly I was sorted into a group. The first session I did the CAPTCHA was furthest along (on the running man bar), the second session I did the CAPTCHA was the next furthest and so on.

That's crazy; I was cursing them for doing it in the last few minutes but nothing after sorting began.

Hotel rooms for Comic-Con 2019 are fully committed at this time. However, as Comic-Con gets closer, hotel rooms do free up!

We urge everyone who still needs a hotel reservation to this check You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login  sometime after May 6, 2019 for updated room availability. All rooms will be available on a first come, first serve basis at that time.

Wonderful! Another date I need to either request off or change shifts.

Haha! I still don’t understand why they can’t do a real time inventory hotel sale.

While it would require some kind of infrastructure/IT investment up front, I’d think would be less expensive than paying people to sift through an ungodly amount of forms and crosscheck hotel picks with inventory available.

I'd think onpeak would have a computer program that sifts thru the applications, and places people into hotels. And be able to check applications for multiple email, name, address, phone number, blood type, etc, for duplicate entries.

Has anyone recieved a confirmation email from onpeak that the submitted form was received ?

I totally feel the same way, especially about the email address when notifications start to go out.

I also think, I should have taken screenshots for myself of almost everything I entered.

Now the waiting game, and the waiting is the hardest part.

In my case, I have a reason to be paranoid. One year I selected Double thinking that meant two beds. In another year, before OnPeak took over, I selected dates for the FOLLOWING week.

I totally forgot to take screenshots. I’m usually diligent about that.

No, OnPeak doesn't send submission confirmation emails, unfortunately.

Yikes. Based on the responses so far looks like we won't be getting any hotel this year. First entry to the form at 9:05.59, second at 9:06.20. Finished at 9:10 & 9:12.

The waiting is always the hardest.  Until next week, I will be constantly agonizing on why I didn't do screen shots, wondering if I misspelled my email address and how late I got in to the site.  At the end of the day, the only comfort I have is this community.  <Reaching for paper bag for deep breaths>

Maybe it's a new effort to sniff out those using multiple browsers/windows/sessions on the same machine.

I had three computers between my sister and I. The two that were on VPN both got captcha'd, one just seconds before 9:00.

The only computer that didn't get captcha'd was non-VPN.

It didn't seem to affect things because the one that captcha'd just before 9:00am was the first one in (9:01:30 or so), and my non-VPN session got in maybe 30sec later.
