Three years ago when I stayed at MMM I was unable to get a real fridge. I requested one ahead of time when the rooms were transferred from OnPeak. When I checked in on Thursday morning they were unable to fill my request. My wife was pumping at the time. We had to use the in-room drink cooler/mini fridge and lots of ice.Maybe you have to get there Wednesday to get one but that year we couldn’t make it until Thursday.
I've had a bunch of SDCC hotels not give me the fridge even with Wednesday check-in, and EARLY at that, maybe by noon? They said they were already out. And yes, I too requested it earlier
I may have missed this, but did anyone get The Moxy?
Did you ask at check-in or check-out?
So judging by comments here and on twitter, I've heard of people getting DowntownMMMHBFMGHHard RockOmniHilton GaslampMarriott GaslampSofiaIntercontinental SolomarHortonResidence Inn GaslampAndaz Westin GaslampWestin San DiegoBest Western BaysideSpringhill Suites Non-DowntownSheraton AirportHilton Airport Harbor IslandCoronado Island Marriott
No Indigo, which is one of my preferred hotels. No Pendry. No Moxy. No US Grant. No Palomar. It looks like second round people are going to get Downtown hotels, if not the super-popular ones. The real question is how far will they go in terms of timestamps. Will 3+ minute timestamps get downtown hotels in the second round?
So working off this list the missing downtown hotels are:Courtyard by Marriott San Diego DowntownCourtyard San Diego Gaslamp/Convention CenterDoubletree San Diego DowntownEmbassy Suites San Diego BayHampton Inn San Diego DowntownHotel Indigo San Diego - Gaslamp QuarterHotel Palomar San DiegoHotel Republic San DiegoMoxy San Diego DowntownPendry HotelResidence Inn Downtown San DiegoResidence Inn San Diego Downtown/BayfrontThe US Grant San DiegoThe Westgate HotelWyndham San Diego Bayside
