Looking over on reddit someone got Hampton Inn. There’s also a Courtyard Marriot but they don’t list which one. Thanks for putting this list together.

Three years ago when I stayed at MMM I was unable to get a real fridge.  I requested one ahead of time when the rooms were transferred from OnPeak.  When I checked in on Thursday morning they were unable to fill my request.  My wife was pumping at the time.  We had to use the in-room drink cooler/mini fridge and lots of ice.

Maybe you have to get there Wednesday to get one but that year we couldn’t make it until Thursday.
We would take MGH for the fridge. One year we got hilton bayfront and brought a big cooler and used that as a fridge.

Keeping the list going of missing downtown hotels:

Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown
Courtyard San Diego Gaslamp/Convention Center
Doubletree San Diego Downtown
Hampton Inn San Diego Downtown
Hotel Indigo San Diego - Gaslamp Quarter
Hotel Republic San Diego
Moxy San Diego Downtown
Pendry Hotel

Post if you hear of any of these that have been offered.
Hotel Republic was pretty popular last year, haven't seen anything this year, though.

The minifridge is the most underrated item in a hotel room during CC. Horton also offers mini-fridges, but they're not standard in every room. You have to request it at check in and they rent it out for $10/night. And depending on if you check-in late in the day, they may run out of mini-fridges. This is based on my experience from last year. I wouldn't be surprised if Horton increased the rent charge to $15/night for this year.

That is absolutely correct. It can be waived with their rewards program.  Hyatt I believe is the only one that has that perk though, and I think you have to be tier 2 or higher correct?

Most of the other Hotels in that area don't have a lounge. The 2 close by hilton properties don't however it think the actual Hiltons a little further out do. For those if your a Gold member you get access if you get upgraded to that floor. For Diamond members you get access to the lounge no matter what room your put in.

yea the MGH is the only out-of-hotel-budget hotel I'll stay in because it reduces my food budget by a truckload because of the mini fridge.  :)

The minifridge is indeed the most underrated hotel feature, and its a money-saver as well. Last year at the HBF was the first year we didn't have one in a couple of years. I spent more than I'd like to admit on that hambuger stand they have outside the hotel.

With these resort hotels it makes more sense for their bottom line to not have a fridge in the room though.
