I’ve done it at check in, but not all hotels will do it.

Regarding combining hotel reservations....Has anyone been able to combine their OnPeak reservation with a reservation done through the hotel itself before checking in? Or have you combined them when checking in? We want to be able to stay in the same room during our stay. Thanks :)

I've always had to do it at check in, but other people have reported being able to do it beforehand. I would try to do it over the phone just to see, sometimes it seems to depend how lucky you are with who you talk to.

Yes you will get a confirmation with your hotels confirmation number. They are behind this year. Most people don't have their confirm numbers yet.

I checked my emails from last year (i'm obsessed) .

Last year I got my confirmation the friday before the con.

I did this last year at MMM, told them I had a separate reservation, same kind of room and they let me stay in the same all weekend... this i'm not so sure for HBF I was going to reserve for sunday directly on the webiste (cheaper) but noticed they got 2 o 3 different prices for 2 bed rooms, depending on the view and the reservation with onpeak just say 2 queen room :S dont know what room I should choose

The Hilton Bayfront has always combined my reservations at check in

What kind of room do you choose with your other reservation? the kind of  $ and view (city, bay) you choose matters? or what kind of reservations have combined?

I actually just spoke with Hard Rock this morning to confirm my reservation and was able to request same room for the entire stay.

Be forewarned, Hard Rock told us last year that our reservations had been combined, but when each reservation ended we had someone banging on the door asking us why we hadn't checked out yet. I'm staying there again this year so obviously not a dealbreaker but annoying.

Update for people staying at MGH: OnPeak reservations were transferred over last night, so folks should be getting emails with hotel confirmations soon. OR you can be like me and call for "in-house reservations" and get your confirmation emailed to you, lol!

But just in general, I would like to thank the fine folks on this board for helping me through this hotel process. I went from staying up in Mission Valley, and many hotels later staying right on the same block as the convention center. AND people here bought my extra rooms from me. Truly grateful for all of the help!

Last year, I called The Bristol and was able to combine my reservation for days before and after the con. We flew in late so it was nice to get it done before hand.

Do they have to be continuous days for them to combine rooms? I have a stay at MMM from Thursday to Sunday, but also separate Thursday and Saturday rooms that I don't need  as extras. Oof.

Didn’t get an email from MGH so I called and asked for it. Heads up that they did not transfer over my Hyatt rewards # (even though I had it listed) or any roommate info so I just asked them to add it.

My friend has 3 reservations at the Hard Rock and they told him to combine at the hotel upon check-in.
