I would suggest going to your local running store and spending some money on some good inserts with real support.

I've got planters in my left foot. I forgot what brand I have, but I spent 70 on them. They are well worth the money.

I have custom orthotics , but they do not really cushion my feet, so the gel inserts help

A battery back up is a must, or you could always go old school with a wall plug.

for my cellphone i have an extra battery, i also have an extra phone, i will swap sim cards once one dies
