The hotel exchange is a special section that is only visible during hotel prime time. We don't leave it up all year. It should return again for 2019.

Great, good to know. That section saved me for two years in a row in terms of getting a hotel after failing with the lottery  :)

I get more and more terrified of Hotelpocalypse every single year.

They say the instant people are good yet every year we have 1-3 people get in immediately or within the first minute and get garbage or nothing.

I started checking flights, just to get an idea of what I'm in for (I fly from New York).  A couple of airlines offer a package (flight and hotel).  I clicked to see what was available for the following days (7/15 - 7/21/2019)

Only Two downtown hotels came up.

Intercontinental (New Hotel)  -  $4184

Manchester Grand Hyatt . - $6967

Anybody got the coin for this .   :) :)

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, however, if say I had a 2 bedroom time share that sleeps 6 in the mission valley area close to the shuttle buses to comic-con from 7-17 to-7-24, what would a fair price be?

The average price for a 2 bed hotel room in MV was in the ballpark of $200/night last year with breakfast included.

Anyone know about the Wyndham Garden? It's got some bad comments but it's super cheap (which might be because it sucks).

I think I'm going to try and go for more rooms than I need in order to help the group out. Maybe it'll work out in our favor this year that way.

Well, the early-bird hotels are definitely not as early as last year... we're now in the same year as Comic-Con 2019 (yay, Happy New Year!!!) and the announcement hasn't gone up yet.
