I had a dream that the hotel I got was here in my home state and I had to fly 5 hours to the con each day.  This was like last week tho lol.

Just think, by this time tomorrow we'll be all done and into the 5-day (MINIMUM) waiting period to find out your results!

I hate OnPeak so, so, so, so, so very much.

I don't think it's fully hit me yet that it's TOMORROW!
I was so tuned in to it being next week that I'm a deer in the headlights right now.
So tonight after work and tomorrow morning I'll be full in manic mode.

Come tomorrow we’ll be complaining and some of us dreaming about the wait LOL. I know I shouldn’t be, but I succumbed to the idea that I’ll have someone here helping me in the exchange. I don’t know why, but that’s how I feel this time around.

I'm just glad it will be done on my end either way.  But the wait period feels so long!

Followed by this weekend when all the casual attendees check their e-mail to discover the hotel sale has already come and gone. I mean, we the technology obsessed got the memo but I'd be curious to see OnPeaks analytics for how many of the e-mails they sent were actually opened as compared previous years.

I dream about SDCC in general often.  Usually Hall H line in my every day life.  Need to wait in a Hall H type line to get on the bus or get groceries or whatever lmao.

My mom deleted the email by accident since she thought it was just saying that they're going to announce it soon, not that it's happening in two days.  If you're not super familiar with the process, I could see where someone would think that there isn't anything actionable from just the subject line.

The worst part about this whole process is the wait between submitting the form and actually getting an email with your hotel (or lack of). It's going to be at least four days (they've always started handing them out on a Monday, if I recall), but it could be 11-15 days. And the stupid part is, they don't even send you a confirmation email saying, yes, we got your request, and here's what you entered.

Back when it was TP Housing (before they merged with OnPeak) that handled hotels, they at least gave you that "we got your request" email.

The hotels page says the first round of placements will go out Tuesday 4/16  this year. So on top of everything else we have to wait an extra day.

Sure is nice that OnPeak gets an extra day to work on things. ::sarcasm::

Star Wars Celebration, Coachella, Gallifrey One Tickets, Tax Day... how can we make a busier week even busier?

Let's give them just two days!
