Ok, it seems like people really rushed to get their forms submitted ASAP—did that time matter? I didn’t really sweat doing that part all that speedy because I thought the time was solely based on when you got to the form.

There was no need to rush...except, perhaps, the people trying to submit more than one form.  I'm not sure that is even necessary.

No, but the skeptic and “race” mindset probably causes most of us to rush through.

Really, the actual submission time isn’t supposed to matter as long as you submit within the allotted 15 minutes. Your form is stamped according to the time you were granted access to the form.

Hey all, long time no talk!

I see a lot of people posting what time they finished the form so in case it hasn't been mentioned you get 15 minutes to complete the form but it has no bearing on your position.  You are given hotel priority based on when you are let into the room to make your choices... So if you got in at 9:04 and finished at 9:11 you are actually in a better position to get your top choices than someone who entered at 9:05 and finished at 9:09.  I hope this helps!

Last year I got in right at about 2 minutes and got my sixth choice (Hampton Inn Little Italy.) This year I got in at 2:30, so fingers crossed.

wife got in at 9:01 while i got in 15 minutes after. Since it was based on when you entered I am hoping we got a good chance with the wife's submission.  Good Luck to all.

I got an email just now from Comic-Con Museum, and for a microsecond, I thought it might’ve been an email regarding hotels.

I think CCI should hold off on all non-hotel-related emails until after hotels are done!

Got in around 9:05 on my iPad, which was the first device I entered the queue with.  Last year I also got in with my iPad at 9:02 and got my 5th choice.  Not looking too good this year =(

The Bristol wasn't apart of the hotel list and it looks like the dates are blocked off on Bristol website. Anyone know if it's possible for it to open up for booking? Some people here mentioned a studio may have booked it which I take to mean it probably won't open up for booking. Really had a great experience last year with this hotel.

Do you only get an email on April 16 if you get a hotel offer in the first round? Or do you get an email saying that you did not make the first round, if that is the case?

I read the info as the former situation, but just making sure. Thank you  :)

No one really knows but I suppose it won't hurt to keep checking the hotel's website to see if a room opens up. Last year I recall Coronado Marriott being completely unavailable at all and this year it's back. Maybe the same studio booked up The Bristol this year.
