In my experience (mostly big cartoons and not Hollywood stuff) I've seen the range go from about 50 to 100.  I think 100 is the max I've ever seen and usually they run over cause everyone has something to say or wants a selfie, etc.

So, let's say they are rewarding 200 wristbands per autograph session--a little more than they have time for to account for no-shows.

Even if only 2,000 people entered the lottery, the odds are only 10% of winning.  If it's 20,000 entries, it's 1%.

NYCC's lottery is different than SDCC.  You could only select 2 "Big ticket" events and 2 small ticket events a day, which is what I think should have been done.

True, but didn’t they also just have Lego and Funko for a specific day, not specific time slots? You just got assigned a specific Funko time if you were a winner for the lottery that day?

Out of all the Hall H panels I'm most excited for...

-Better Call Saul
-Breaking Bad
-Warner Bros
"I have three kids and no money. Why can't I have no kids and three money?"
-Homer Simpson

Question about next day wristbands - I want one for Friday, how soon do I need to get in line for just the wristband?

A)  Nobody here has a crystal ball to give you an accurate answer.  This is the first year without Game of Thrones on Friday which was traditionally the biggest draw, so nobody knows what will hapoen this year.
B). That’s not something discussed in the forum, since if someone says to lineup at a certain time, then everyone will be planning to line up before then.
C) For any Hall H panel, if you just want a wristband, you should probably get in line sometime before the time CCI announced they are giving out wristbands for the next day.  How much before is totally up to you, there are no guarantees.  If you monitor twitter, you will see people posting about the line, and you can make decisions from there.

From the start of handing out wristbands, when do they usually run out?  One hour?  Two hours?  More?

It depends on the day, what’s there and how many people are in line.  Sometimes they don’t run out of wristbands at 7:30 in the morning. I also know that in 2015, I was in line on the basketball court for Saturday wristbands and got mine at 2am.
Even in the best of times it was more than two hours.  It took more than an hour just to get through the people under the tents. Add in the new badge tap this year, and you can expect a very, very long wait if you’re down on the marina.

I'd say at minimum 3 hours but it's usually been longer.

these autograph signings are going to make the overnight lines a little interesting for hall h. i dont know how the wb signings are being handled but the Fox signings want you at the booth at 8:30-9:00 am to get a wristband for your autograph signing later in the day. i dont think youd be able to do both that and get into hall h.

Only if Hall H is a walk in. If you have a wristband you have to be in line by 7:30. And Hall H usually isn’t loading early enough that you could get a seat in Hall H, then get a bathroom pass to go to the booth in that window.

I have to pick up my Saturday Conan ticket starting at 9:00 according to my ticket. Is it possible to get seated in Hall H first (figure around 9:30 was what it was last year?) and get a return pass to run over to conan?

If you don't line up first for conan, will you be screwed?

It might be, not sure if there will be a change in bathroom pass policies.  Question is how long you have to get your ticket.  You’re only getting into Hall H at 9:30 if you’re one of the first in line.

I am going to get in line for Hall H after leaving Preview Night. If wristbands start at 8pm, is this a several hour long process? I could assume I would be in line until close to midnight?

We also don't want to stay in line all night, so I plan on leaving and getting back around 4:30am. Close seating doesn't matter to me for the most part.
