Cher is Driving by With Tech Tips!

Follow our simple tech tips below to ensure you and your computer are rollin’ with the homies on November 16!

Check your browser compatibility.
Click here to verify your current settings. Explain to Dionne how important it is to avoid using multiple tabs, private browsing, incognito applications, and driving on the freeway during your registration session.

Use a laptop or desktop during Open Registration.
Comic-Con cannot guarantee that mobile devices (including iPads and other tablets) will behave as expected, and they may cause you to feel an overwhelming sense of ickiness.

You should also make sure that you have a reliable and secure internet connection so that you are not accidentally disconnected. I doubt the WiFi from Cher’s virtual closet is any good!

Use our suggested browsers.
The Expo Logic waiting room and badge registration system have been tested on the browsers listed below:

Firefox: Latest Version
Google Chrome: Latest Version
Internet Explorer: Version 11 only
Safari: Latest Version
Microsoft EDGE: Latest Version
As if Josh would let Cher use an outdated version of Firefox!

Enable JavaScript and cookies.
These features are usually enabled in the default configuration of most modern web browsers – so most likely you’re giving us two enthusiastic thumbs up! However, double-checking is always a good idea.

Adjust your power saving settings.
Make sure to check your power-saving setting before you enter the Expo Logic waiting room. Avoid letting your computer go into sleep mode or powering down or you will be totally buggin’.

Do not post photos of your registration session online.
Your personal registration code is embedded in the URL. Do not post pictures of your waiting room or registration session online! Amber is always up to no good. We hear she snagged a Cranberries CD from the quad and, if she finds your registration code photo online, she’ll snag that too! Nothing will stop her from using it and your session will expire.

Are there any other ways I can gain an advantage in the Expo Logic waiting room?
A little luck, a white collarless shirt from Fred Segal, and a lot of patience will be your most powerful weapons during the Expo Logic badge registration process. If you are selected for a registration session, remember to read through each step carefully and don’t click through too quickly.

Congratulations! You made it through our tech tips for Comic-Con 2020 Open Registration. Let’s go celebrate with two bowls of Special K, 3 pieces of turkey bacon, a handful of popcorn, 5 peanut butter M&M’s, and like, 3 pieces of licorice.
