We have made the challenging decision to postpone Comic-Con 2021 as an in-person gathering until our 2022 dates, and once again hold this year's celebration as the free online Comic-Con@Home. We will return to the San Diego Convention Center July 20 - 24, 2022.
Are these dates still valid, you think? Seems like the page that originally posted then seem to have removed the dates.
At this point, who knows? They haven't even 100% confirmed the November dates for this year. Regardless, they probably want to focus on the November show before promoting SDCC in 2022.That being said, it doesn't seem like there's a reason to NOT hold it next year.
This isn't a confirmation, but last week it was noticed that people were able to reserve those dates at the MGH. And now it says those specific dates are not available. All the weeks before are available and the week after is available, but the 20th to 24th is not available. Again, not confirmation, but interesting nonetheless.
Could you please share that blog link/post ? I didn't see that MGH info, not 100% sure which one you mean. I am definitely interested to keep track of hotel options for 2022. Thanks!
I saw the MGH tweet and went ahead and booked a refundable room through booking.com. Not crazy expensive, not cheap, and booking.com makes me a little nervous but *shrug*
Booking.com has the Sofia up for the week for cheap. I put in 6 nights and it showed $515 for the week. That's about 85 bucks a night. Can't beat that! This is probably a good week to scope out hotels for next year. A lot opened up in my daily search this morning. The Sofia was definitely the cheapest so far.
