CCI just implemented a new system with "credits" per day.  I'm wonder if this means it will extend to SDCC.  For those that don't know or haven't gotten the email, each day you attend WonderCon, you're allotted a certain amount of credits. I would call these "entries." You can choose to put all of your credits or entries into one exclusive signing, or spread them around into multiple.

I have a feeling this is to counter everybody signing up for every exclusive last year at SDCC.

I'm sure this will extend to SDCC but probably more credits per person per day I would think.  3 credits per day for Wondercon

Agreed. And agreed. 3 is too little. But if say 100,000 people a day at SDCC....3 doesn't sound that bad. Last year I got really lucky with exclusives....I'm really hoping this isn't the change. Everybody will just put their credits to Funko LOL.

Seems pretty simple but I don’t think that fully addresses no shows or returning signings after the portal closes if you want to cancel.

It does not, but I think under this system the numbers of people in those situations will be much smaller.

The credits seem like a good idea. Not sure if it would increase your odds of getting the really popular stuff. But at least everyone won't sign up for everything.

Oh no! We have another Kitty!!

This caught me off guard, knowing I didn't write that. Haha.

I'm still miffed my badge doesn't work to get in on any signings or exclusives. And yes, I understand why (the jerkfaces that ruin it for others). What CCI doesn't realize, those exhibitors that want something get a normal badge, use their exhibitors badge to get in early, swarm the area of desire until the floor opens, then instantly swap their badge to the regular badge to get the exclusive item or signing. I call them out when they come buy comics.

Whoa, sorry, got on a bit of a and there.

Hi! There can never be too many kitties!

Re: the exhibitor badge scam, I have heard that too and always thought CCI probably knows but doesn't spend resources trying to stop it.

If this is good idea, let’s hope SDCC apply it to the Hall H and B20 lines and let the lottery decides who gets into th3 panels.

Looks like the Saturday Warner Brothers is most likely Childs Play.

Child's Play panel has its own panel on Saturday at 6pm. The WB movie panel is listed as WB/New Line which suggests at least one of the movies it's presenting is a New Line one. My guess is it's the upcoming Annabelle 3 movie. I hope Shazam is the other one they're presenting. The other 2 possibilities are Detective Pikachu and Godzilla.
