Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet on display
« on: June 15, 2016, 12:26:29 PM »
Can't miss this! Or maybe I will miss it, since it's invisible. :)

"A life-size Wonder Woman invisible jet will be on display at San Diego Comic-Con and the rare plane will illuminate at night for fan photos, along with one-of-a-kind Wonder Woman-inspired graffiti-art pieces."

Good point.  I've always wondered why she needs a jet when she can fly?

Sounds like something to do on those romantic comic-con evening strolls.  ;) I'll definitely check it out.

Wonder Woman couldn't always fly.  When the plane was first introduced, that wasn't in her power set - so the jet was her way of getting around.  Modern WW I don't think does need it, nor uses the jet for that matter...but admittedly been a long, long time since I read WW on the regular).

Thanks.  Didn't know that.  I guess I've only read ones where she could fly.  :)

So it won't be like the Hot Wheels Invisible Jet from a few years back? ;)

Ha; that was so awesome (and one of the few exclusives I've kind of wanted but never got)!

I'm curious to see what they do (maybe it'll be the 'Invisible Jet' from the new WW movie?).

For all we know they could say "Invisible Jet is making constant fly-overs above the Convention Center, you just can't see it because...well...invisible, and you won't hear it because of high-tech!" :-P

I've never been a fan of waiting in line just for a photo op but for the WW jet... I think I'll make an exception. :)

In previous years WB has put this type of stuff on the lawn area between the Hilton parking garage and Hall H: not really much of a line.  When Batman was celebrating his 75th, they had every single on-screen Batmobile (or at least the TV series & every movie except BvS).  One year they had the Mystery Machine; another year they had Bagend life-sized via LEGOs.  If you go early enough there typically hasn't been much of a line

It'd be funny if they just roped off an area with nothing in it and said it was there.  :)

I am sort of expecting that to be honest.

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured it was, with lights at night.

I am sort or expecting that to be honest.

I think it'd be hilarious with aircraft stuff all around like the blocks to keep the plane from rolling while it's parked.  They could even matt down the grass where the wheels would be like crop circles.

Imagine all the Facebook photos of people being excited at air to be standing in front of air  :)

Looked that up online.  Looks like a parking lot?  This will be a must do on the way to beg for Conan tickets at Spreckels.  Boost my mood in case my mission fails. :)
