Sometimes you just need to get back to the simpler times.

This was my very first book that was mine and not handed down. I read it a million times.

I'm getting ready to read The Witcher, House of Glass

I read this every night for countless nights to my children. I still read it to my college students as an oral interpretation example.

I finished Ready Player Two.

Ernest Cline held a Q&A on Bigscreen last year when the book came out.  He'll be in the Q&A session for Insert Coin.  The Q&A is this Friday, February 26, at 7 PM PT (10 PM ET).  Afterwards they'll show the movie for free.

I enjoyed it. It was a fun read. If you liked the first one, you will like this one.

BUT.... it suffers from sequelitis, in that it is not 'fresh' in the way that the first one was. It feels like there were some pop culture genres that Cline wanted to explore in the first book, but couldn't fit in, so they went into the second book. And the storyline is similar (another clue hunt, with the future of the Oasis at stake). So it's not as good as the first book. But still worth reading.

I am alternating between two books atm:  Book 3 of The Wheel of Time series:  The Dragon Reborn and CHAOS - Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties.  CHAOS is very well researched and quite shocking.

I've been reading Andy Weir's newest book, Project Hail Mary. About 70% done. It went a very different direction that I was expecting. I'm enjoying it a lot, but I've gotten to a very stressful part and had to put it down. Hoping to finish this weekend.

I just reread Those Who Wish Me Dead in preparation for the movie, which came out yesterday.
