Oh you only just getting it released this week in the US? We've had it for a couple of weeks in the UK ;)

The visuals are great even if they are ripped from Inception. But once they disappear you're left with a pretty average storyline about one man hitting rock bottom and then rising up again. Cumberbatch's accent is truly atrocious and sounds as if he has been watching Hugh Laurie in House for an entire month. Also he can't do comedy at all. Thankfully Mads is on fine form. The film needed more Mads.

Just remember, it costs him a lot more to get his flight to SDCC. It all balances out in the end...

I really enjoyed it.  Yes we all know I'm always happy to stare at Benedict Cumberbatch for 2 hours.

I'll agree the baseline of the story wasn't anything we haven't seen before, I'm a sucker for the over coming difficulty films. Visual effects are beautiful and I think it lays the foundation for what we really want to see from Doctor Strange.

I enjoyed the comedy, although there weren't as many laughs in the theater compared to things like avengers.  This comedy was a little more subtle.

Only one more infinity stone!!!!!

What a fun movie! I really liked it. Now the story itself is fine, nothing new here, same old origin story, but the style, the CGI, was amazing. Go see it folks.

I'm going to see it on Monday, IMAX 3-D.  I'm excited but my boyfriend is really excited -he's been a fan of Dr. Strange since he was a kid in the in 1960s and a fan of Benedict Cumberbatch ever since I got him watching Sherlock with me.  We saw the "See It First" 15 minutes of footage about a month ago, and that got us convinced we had to see the whole movie in the IMAX 3-D.

We saw it in IMAX-3D yesterday, totally worth it. Must have sat through a dozen previews though.

Agree that it was visually gorgeous but the story was ho-hum. Strange didn't have much of a character arc, which I found disappointing. He was basically still a snobby jerk at the end, just a snobby jerk who saves worlds instead of brains now.

I'm assuming that most people here know this, but just in case:  If you are a fan of the Dr strange and Inception design, google image M.C. Escher.  His drawings are terrifyingly good.  It is amazing to me that his brain could conceptualize those images and the unbelievable talent to put them on paper.
