It does seem really strange, I've been trying to call them but it just rings and rings, not a good sign.

This too will be a lottery, process sounds simple enough either you get it or you don't. I like the first come first serve of past years but after their shutdown on day of sale last year I guess this was to be expected.

This is their solution for last year's debacle?!  So glad, I am flying down.

Q: Will the system allow me to purchase multiple permits per day?
A: No. Each account is restricted to one permit per day for Comic-Con. If you need to purchase more than one permit, you will need to setup multiple accounts.

This is confusing. Hope they mean only one permit per day PER lottery win. Not that I'm worried because I need multiple permits, I just need one.  More about scalpers or ppl being greedy.  Wish they would force one to register first so the lottery entries are unique.  Ah well, will have to get my email out this afternoon

I got the confirmation email as well. At least I know I'm in the lottery now.

If the lottery is per email address - and you have more than one email address/account - does that mean that we can submit an  entry for each email address? In other words - does it go by email address or by name? So, those that only have one email address can enter only once - but if you have two or three than that means you can be entered more than once?

Maybe you need an Ace account for the email address?

The web page says multiple things.   At the top it says send an email and your done.

Below the list of parking lots it says "only one entry per account will be considered" making me think u need an acct.

The first faq says "the drawing will be restricted to one entry per email address" making me think u don't need an acct

Anyone's guess is as good as mine!

Aces post just states to email them to registar for the lotto the account will come in later i think.  Last year you needed your account to buy the actual parking passes

My guess is that they didn't really think this through. They're going to start getting lots of questions and submissions (some of which may not 'qualify'). Hopefully they will release more specifics shortly, once they realize their error.

Here's the response I got after sending a message to [email protected]:

"We have received your registration for Comic Con 2015

Thank You...

Note: This is an automated response to your message  "Comic Con 2015
parking" sent on 3/11/2015 1:01:44 PM.

This is the only notification you will receive while this person is away."

Any of you receive anything different?

I'm guessing that scalpers will hit this sale hard since all you need is a email address.

DO NOT BUY PARKING FROM A SCALPER!!!!!!!

The parking passes can be printed out multiple times. But the barcodes can only been used one. A scalper can print out one set of parking passes 500 times and sell them all. The first person to get to the lot gets in. The other 499 people are screwed and will be denied entrance. Not worth the risk.
