OK... it took three hours from getting in line until finishing... not great, but less than the five hours they were warning us about? I listened to podcasts 

ALSO: no more Solar Opposite pins, and it's now EITHER the Futurama Pin set OR the backpack.

This is why Thursday is the offsite day for me.  It's the best day.  Friday is not as good.  Saturday and Sunday are a nightmare because that's when all the locals without badges go to the offsites.

That explains the 4-5 hour wait times and frequent line capping. Id love to get the pins and backpack but i cant deal w that wait. Cest le vie. Lesson learned to do Thurs next year !

If anyone scored one of the cartoon backpacks and doesn't need/want it, Please let me know.  My GF is dying for one but we can't fit in the wait time tomorrow.

While waiting for the Talk Back panel, I hung out on the balcony watching Animayhem down below.  The line was still long and went out to the boardwalk.  They did seem to be letting in many more people at a time.  At first I didn't even think they were metering it but then they stopped people.  But only a couple of minutes later, they let them start going in again.  It seemed like they were letting in about a row at a time.  Everyone went straight in.  When I did it, we went in small groups and we had plenty of time for a photo op in front of the entrance.

The line was so long on Sunday morning, so we didn't even try. There was no way I was waiting for 4+ hours. When it started to rain a little, I was hoping that might clear the line, but no luck. It seemed like a fun activation. I wish there had been an opporunity to RSVP.

I didn't know this happened.  The first drone show at SDCC.  For Futurama.

It was amazing! So surprised when it happened, but it was so cool! I watched it from the sidewalk, but a lot of people were walking into the middle of the street trying to record it - it was quite dangerous as there was still quite a bit of oncoming traffic around downtown even at that time of night. The cars kept honking at people to move out of the way. ^__^;;;

The situation reminded me of those disaster movies where people stood still and looked up to the sky while an asteroid or meteorite comes crashing down. Hahahahahahahaha, it was that mesmerizing.

I saw this while waiting in line for the Good Omens 2 party! It was backwards for me but still good.

This was only worth the swag if you aren't into photo ops. I went in the morning and there was only photo ops and the swag no burgers or donuts
