"Hulu will also be taking Animayhem to San Diego Comic-Con with an immersive experience dubbed “Hulu Animayhem: Into the Second Dimension.” According to Gruner, the experience will be a “journey for fans” that will allow them to feel like they are part of the world of their favorite animated shows. Gruner said that is just one of the ways she and her team are connecting with fans."

They announced today their “Hulu Animayhem”, a sub-brand focused on Hulu’s robust adult animation and anime library. And they’ll be celebrating at San Diego Comic-Con from Thursday, July 20 – Sunday, July 23, when they’ll be taking over the Bayfront parking lot for an activation focused on many of your fan favorite shows like Family Guy and Futurama."

I did this today since the line didn't seem that bad.  It was full but didn't extend out into the boardwalk.  It was about an hour wait.  The first 20 minutes it moved at a glacial pace but then all of the sudden it got much faster.  I think they allowed more people in per group.  When I was looking it from the outside before getting into line, there weren't that many people in there.  When I got in, there were many more.

It's really just a bunch of photo ops.  There are separate lines for the photo ops inside.  So if you aren't into photo ops, it's not really worth it.  I had to see inside the blow up HQ building from Futurama though.  Inside it's just a bunch of photo op stations.

There is decent swag.  2 sents of pins and a backpack.  If you get there early enough, they were also handing out hamburgers for Bob's Burgers.  Before I got in line, people were standing around with trays full of them.  They couldn't give them away.  By the time I got in, the burgers were no where to be found.

IMO, if time is tight do the FX offsite instead.

The pins came in boxes.  It's a set nicely presented in a box.  They give you one set right before you enter the offsite proper after waiting in line.  They give you the other box set and the backpack as you leave.

FYI I looked it up.  The pin sets are for Solar Opposites and Futurama.  I'm not a photo op guy but those plus the cartoon styled backpack I want so I guess Im braving that line today.

Me as well!! I tried yesterday morning but the line was already capped at 10AM and I never went back. But today I think I'm going to gut it out and hope it stays overcast! Look for the lady with the green hair!

OK... it took three hours from getting in line until finishing... not great, but less than the five hours they were warning us about? I listened to podcasts 

ALSO: no more Solar Opposite pins, and it's now EITHER the Futurama Pin set OR the backpack.
