I've looked, and can't seem to find an answer to this question on the SDCC site, or here in the forums. It is about Pro Registration, refunds and guests.

My wife and I are Professionals, with her being the main Trade Professional, and me being her Guest. We have purchased both of our badges. We have also purchased a badge during open registration for our daughter.

It is looking like my wife now may not be able to attend, but I would still like to take my daughter (esp. because we have booked our hotel and other travel expenses already. And also my daughter would be heartbroken).

So my question is this: If my wife requests a refund for her Pro badge - does it automatically "cancel" her guest (me) as well? Or will it only cancel and refund HER badge / ID? (...and I can still keep my guest badge and take our daughter to the Con)

Anyone know?

I haven't got a response from SDCC, and the refund deadline is coming up fast. I also don't want to request the refund until I know for sure what will happen.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If SDCC answers you, it may supersede what I’m about to say.

If I were in your position, I wouldn’t request the refund and just take it as a loss.  The guest badge is mailed to the primary badge holder (your wife).  That tells me the two are linked.

Any Pros receive Your Badges Have Been Mailed email yet?  I've received one badge and one son's badge arrives tomorrow but no word on my husband's or other son's Pro badges

Have not received any emails.  Signed up for USPS informed delivery and I have some package coming from California that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.  I'm hoping it's my badge as I'm not expecting anything else.
