Working with Thermoplastics
« on: April 19, 2014, 02:39:28 PM »
Does anyone have any experience working with worbla or wonderflex?

Did you like it and do you think it would work well for making feather attachments to a harness?

I'm thinking of doing Rule 63 Falcon and it seems like it'd be the way to go to make everything work but I've never worked with it before so I was wondering if anyone has.

Hmmm...do you have any reference pictures for the specific version (comics, CA movie, etc.) that you'd like to do?

You also might want to try visiting You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and ask about using thermoplastics.  It's a good resource for cosplayers, and I think you'll get more information over there.

^__^; Hope that helps.

I worked with Worbla for the first time last year, and it was tricky at first but once you get the hang of shaping it with heat, etc, it's a very cool material to use...I highly recommend Kamui Cosplay, her site has various tutorials that are really helpful :) You are not allowed to view links.
