A&E Bates Motel, Room 6A, 10:00am-11:00am
« on: April 02, 2013, 09:51:25 AM »
The Bates Motel is open for business in San Diego! Executive producers Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Kerry Ehrin (Friday Night Lights) will release new footage from the highly acclaimed A&E drama series Bates Motel exclusively for Comic Con attendees. The executive producers will be joined by the cast, including Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga (Norma Bates), Freddie Highmore (Norman Bates), Max Thieriot (Dylan), Olivia Cooke (Emma), and Nestor Carbonell (Sheriff Alex Romero) to discuss the show's unique backstory and creation. Fans will get an opportunity to hear more about season 2, debuting in 2014 on A&E, and will have a chance to ask the cast and creators questions during a Q&A. Moderated by Tim Stack from Entertainment Weekly.

Room 6A

I just watched the first three episodes back to back and I must say that it is decent. I hope they don't do a "psychopath of the week" but stay with more of a season structured like The Killing.

Anyone else watch this? It's on Mondays on A&E for those interested in checking it out.

I've been watching it. It's a good watch. You can see what makes Norman stab poor ladies in the shower. When I first heard about it, i figured it would have been a prequel from back in the day. Have to say I'm happy to see it take place in today's world. They live in a pretty mean town where people get set on fire in the middle of town. I'm glad it finally came out. Last year at SDCC we got a couple of the Bates Motel soaps in the gaslamp by the  Frankenwienee/HGTV display.

I forgot all about that! I have some of them sitting in a box in my closet.

They reminded me of my cheap dr uncle, who would always giving me soap from the airplane when he would come out to visit. Yes back back in the day when airplanes had individually wrapped soap on them.

Some interesting freebees...

i loved the whole story Psycho... the book is just creepy and of course Anthony Perkins is awesome.  I haven't seen this yet but if i can find it around or even on Netflix one day I'll be seeing how much i love or hate it lol.

Dear Die-ary,
I went to the SDCC talk-back panel today...

It was pretty funny, they had these hot girls in something a Hooters girl would wear walking around giving out matchboxes.  they actually are matchboxes except when you open them up lol.
