Man it’s going to be insane downtown next year
Fun isn’t something one considers when preparing for Comic-Con, but attending does put a smile on my face

On Twitter, the @PetcoPark handle tweeted it out, the @Padres rewtweeted it. Back to back nights of concerts at Petco Park during Comic-Con. Absolute crazy.

I don't know what to think lol how was it then? I mean I have only been going since 2016 and this will be the first time with a couple concerts at petco... also is it me or motley/def is not the typical band for SDCC crowd?

FWIW typically concerts that have played Petco Park in the past use the parking lot typically used for CCI off-sight events for their logistics (semis, support vehicles, sometimes buses, etc).  With two events taking up half of Comic-Con week at Petco Park, I think it's a good hypothesis that there won't be any "other" off-sites at Petco Park (besides the Thurs & Fri night concerts, if we want to consider them off-sights), and a significantly less presence of off-sight events right on the other side of the people bridge.

To say nothing of potential hotel & transportation (extra) congestion.  I don't think it's necessarily a huge deal, but it _might_ mean a lot less parking available in the lotto/pre-sale & maybe fewer downtown hotels as well.
