Easter again? What is with these people? You'd think that if they actually have dates this far ahead, that they could pick a better time!

(Sorry, I'm guilty of a little double posting, but realize this comment is more appropriate here. Forgive me!  ;))

Anaheim and Easter.

I've resolved myself to accept Anaheim, it has been 3 years in a row now, but I'm perplexed why they choose Easter weekend? You would think that might hurt attendance on Sunday especially, although I know Sunday did end up selling out, but does no one in CCI believe in the Easter Bunny?   :)  They don't at least have kids that do?  ;) Or maybe no one is Christian and they don't believe in the Resurrection?  :-\  Maybe all the higher ups at CCi are Atheist? I don't know. Hmmm ... maybe they get to rent out the convention center for cheaper since no one else would use it for that weekend because of those aformentioned reasons!  ^-^

You know, I never thought of that, but you might be right. I wonder if this is a factor? Maybe the first year, or even this year, they booked Easter because it was all that was left. But they liked the discount and stuck with it?

Well you could theoretically go to Sunrise services or even attend church early in the morning. As for the Easter egg hunt, I propose we can have a meet-up and have an Easter egg hunt. We could do it in front of the convention center, plenty of places to hide eggs  ;D

I would not be surprised if they were able to get a discount for Sunday and since they did sell out of Sunday badges this year and last year too I believe, it may be worth it to them.

Well it seems that we won't have to worry if it is going to be in Anaheim or San Francisco. I know San Francisco won't book more than six months out, and if they have already put out an interest list to exhibitors looks like they have already started making plans.

Looks like this may be the only time I go to Disneyland now will be during WonderCon, and only if they continue offering the discount to WonderCon attendees.

I had a great time at this year's WonderCon and I plan on attending again next year.

I live in the SF Bay Area and work in SF, and I loved it when in was at the Moscone Center because I didn't have to take the full Friday off.   However, I love the setup of the Anaheim Convention Center, as the stairs and fountain in front is a natural place for attendees and cosplayers to congregate.

I'm looking forward to WonderCon 2015

Well, Celebration is two weeks before it so it probably limited the options some.
