SDCC 2023 Hotel Discussion

Hi everyone!
I’m not sure where to post this request for a hotel sharing option, so pls let me know if there is a different conversation for that.
Unfortunately my housing host canceled yesterday and I’m now in need of a place to stay for SDCC. This will be my 11th con and first time looking sort of last minute for a room.
Might anyone here need a roommate or know of someone (or a different forum) that is looking for someone to share a room? I would really appreciate any help. Thank you in advance!

That blows. I’m sorry that happened to you. You’ll mainly have to wait until after the hotel sale happens and all of the appropriate threads open like room sharing and hotel exchanges. I would also encourage you to participate in the forum some more outside of looking for hotel leads as that would be one of the factors people consider before offering room shares or hotels.

Thank you so much for the input @MarvelGurl. I will (and should) up my engagement here on the forum. And not solely for resource sharing but to connect with my fellow Con-goers. I have met several FoCC members at gatherings and it’s been so fun! Thanks again for the input!

I wouldn’t stress about it at all. If you already know you’re willing to share a room plus have the option of hotel lottery this far in advance, you’ll certainly be able to find something. Lots of activity after the hotel sale.
