Looks like it, the $899 ticket might have replaced it.

Also, as I read it, the gold member priority queue for panels is gone.  It sounds like you either pay for preferred seating, or it’s a randomized reservation system for you to get into a D23 Hall panel.

Where did you read there are no longer separate panel queues for Gold Members?

Well you’re asking about something from 4 months ago, but if I recall, when it lists the gold member perks at the expo, the priority queue is not mentioned.  It was listed as a gold member perk for the last two expos.

I know it's a longshot, but does anyone have an extra, unassined D23 badge for sale?
All of a sudden, my kid (23yrs old) can go.  :(

Which is why I went the reserved seating route!

Agreed. I went reserved seating this year after experiencing this con evolve and get more hyped every year.  When I first started going in 2013, we only had to get there a few hours ahead of time to get into the big panels.  Then 2019 started having reservations and we happened to get lucky, so this year when I saw the reserved seating, I had to pull the trigger.

So for folks that attended, what'd you think?  Is the pre-pay for the big Hall panel "reservations" better than the Comic-Con lineup experience?  Is there are non-prepay/non-lotto standby line that folks got in for?  How's the exhibit Hall compared to SDCC?

I'm just curious; every time this thing comes around it seems to be at a bad weekend for me and I've been unable to attend.  I'm curious if folks who are both SDCC vets and D23 Expo vets prefer one system over the other.  I know some of the footage has been officially released by Disney, and some has not (I'm _dying_ to see the Indy 5 trailer!!!) while all of the news has obviously been shared by this point.

I would say that overall the floor and programming are more limited, but it’s a good complement to presentations at other cons if you’re a fan of the Disney properties.  Standby for the popular panels could be difficult, my friends got in the unofficial line at 2am Saturday and the last people to get in standby were the two people behind them.  The Lucas and Marvel segments though were on par with SDCC.
Also, if you got the D23 Hall preferred seating badge (which granted, was $900), meant you could sit in one of the prime front center rows and sleep.  I took advantage of it and got to sit in the front row for the Lucas/Marvel panel, and doing that at SDCC would be impossible.
