A few in Washington are treating UFOs as a national security issue.
Andrew Costa Mesa:
Not too long ago, any mention of UFOs in the U.S. were guaranteed one-way tickets to the loony bin. Now there are a few in Washington that are actually treating this as a national security issue.

SERIOUSLY wild times! I've seen some of that video shot from a cockpit of a fighter jet that was declassified and it's pretty crazy! When the pentagon talks about legit worries of unknown technology that they know for a fact is impossible currently on earth (some of the reports of these ships maneuvering in ways the human body can't cope with, for example) AND releasing previously classified docs, you know something is nutty! Not to mention references to even crazier instances that they can't declassify because it would "give away" bits of classified government technology!
I guess the former lead singer of Blink 182 wasn't crazy for quitting the band to focus on UFO stuff afterall! :P

This comes and goes. Remember Project Blue Book in the 50's and 60's?
I believe in extraterrestrial intelligence. There are too many planets out there not to. I'm not convinced they are visiting here though. The problem for me is the variety of UFOs. If they were all the same or similar design then I would tend to believe more. But they are all so different. Unless we are a galactic hotspot, why would so many different people be visiting here?

To me this is more of a "this is a really fascinating thing: WTF is going on?!" than a "it is/is not aliens." We legit have the US armed forces _NERVOUS_ about phenomena that are doing things in restricted US military airspace that no known human aircraft can do: some reports describe things that a human body likely could not handled as far as G-forces and whatnot! I do tend to agree that it's incredibly egotistical to think humanity is the only intelligent being in the universe: of even the most intelligent. Beyond the probability of that there is likely intelligent life of some sort out in the universe, IDK what to think about all of this. The intellectual part of me definitely wants to investigate and figure out exactly what this is (some of the military officer/pilot's descriptions are really interesting - especially the "tic-tac" esque aircraft): at least to eliminate all possibilities of what it definitely is not.

The U.S. government announced that the 120 sightings of aerial phenomena witnessed over the past 20 years by U.S. Navy pilots was not alien spacecraft but still couldn’t explain the odd sightings.
