So while we're all waiting for our badges to show up, is it possible to guess what pin is in each package based on it's weight?
Here are the weights of the 4 packages coming to my house:
  • Weight (lbs.):    0.3850
  • Weight (lbs.):    0.3950
  • Weight (lbs.):    0.3950
  • Weight (lbs.):    0.3900
I wonder if there really is a difference in the weight of each pin.

The new badges don’t look that different than last year’s, even without the RFID card. Yes, a certain AMC show is back on them as well. The UBlog has the photo.

I am 100% behind this experiment.  :)

Right? I was hoping for a Stan Lee commemorative box or something!  Oh well, hope I get the Toucan pin!

That's a good idea.  I wish they had done that.

Time for a pin trade thread.  ;D

Screw trades. I’m buying all of them!
Fun isn’t something one considers when preparing for Comic-Con, but attending does put a smile on my face

So I’m here all excited that the badges are shipping and looking out for my email and I just now realized that they’re not shipping pro badges this year.

UPS has me at 0.4000. Not sure if its just rounded up or you're checking somewhere else?
Hoping I get either the CC50 or Golden State pin.

Speaking of UPS, I get the feeling my package will be lost again during handoff to my local PO. It went limbo ("waiting for acceptance") for a week or so.

This reminds me of the operations management class I took in college where we had to determine if a football weighing in at 15.05 ounces was actually over the specified weight of 15 ounces.

This happened to me last year, too.  I actually had to complain to my mailman that they were not "accepting" my packages.
So far this year, they have already accepted 3 of the 4 boxes so I should be getting them on Monday.
