The 20th Century fox panel that was listed for Thursday is no longer listed in the lottery selections. It was there yesterday but is now gone. I wonder what happens for anyone who picked that one and submitted yesterday.

That's why I'm waiting. Because they can do a whole lot of adding and subtracting from now until Sept. 27 when it ends.

The lottery for legacy entries ends on Sept 20th. They announce legacy lottery winners on the 23rd. The lottery for everyone not legacy eligible ends on the 27th with those winners announced on the 30th. So if your legacy eligible for the lottery enter by the 20th for a better chance to win something.

You actually can wait to enter until the general lottery even if you’re a legacy. Reedpop has not indicated if legacies have a better chance at winning panels or if the benefit is solely finding out earlier what panels you get. I imagine they have a certain number of slots reserved for each lottery but knows, they’ve never been very transparent

“But on the content side, Thursday is looking massive, we have an unannounced panel from a pretty big studio that will be taking over the Main Stage on the morning, that I recommend everyone to keep their eyes out for”

From an interview with the NYCC events manager. Pretty much confirms the Fox panel that showed up in the lottery then mysteriously disappeared is actually happening. Can only guess what the movies will be. Weird to put what seems to be their only movie studio panel on a Thursday.

***FYI***

Just a heads up regarding panels at Hammerstein and MSG.

There are reserved seating for lottery winners for these two locations.

So, if you have won you don't have to worry about people that lined up early in the more morning. You have have a seat.

Thursday, October 3
1:00 pm- 2:00 pm
Main Stage 1D - Javits Center

20TH CENTURY FOX PANEL: An Insider’s Look at “The King’s Man” and “Free Guy”

20th Century Fox will be at New York Comic Con with Criminal Masterminds, British Intelligence Agents, Despondent Bank Tellers & Biker Girls for An Insider’s Look at “The King’s Man” and “Free Guy.” This panel will introduce both films and feature exclusive conversations with the cast and filmmakers. “The King’s Man” is Matthew Vaughn’s origin story of Britain’s very first independent intelligence agency hitting theaters in February, and “Free Guy” is an adventure-comedy directed by Shawn Levy starring Ryan Reynolds as a forlorn bank teller who discovers he is a background character in an open world video game, in theaters in July.

This panel is not included in the pre-show lottery. All seats will be filled in a first come, first served basis.

On Friday, the Hobbits panel has moved to Hulu, and the Steven Universe panel has moved to Main Stage and is now at 11 instead of 11:30.

What is going on this year? I have never heard of panels switching venues the week before the convention.

Idk if it’s the studios or Reedpop, but a ton of late announcements this year

“What if the space race never ended? Find out by joining Ronald D. Moore and the cast of FOR ALL MANKIND, a new series coming to Apple TV+, for an Exclusive Sneak Peek & Panel at #NYCC19 on Saturday, Oct. 5th at 3pm at Hammerstein Ballroom.”

Might be that they just don't have that space on Sunday - I don't remember an announcement either way this year but in past years they've only had some off-site locations on certain days.

I hope they do though, because the Sunday schedule feels especially lacking this year..
