Yes.  I am afraid I am not clear.  I have the app. I have a subscription. I watch it on Apple TV.  I was asking if it works with a Smart TV.

I have no idea. Can the Smart TV download apps such as YouTube? If it can, then the DC Universe app should work. Try and see.

FYI the app technically isn’t available for fire tablets either. I had gotten a Black Friday deal on a fire tablet because my commute is nearly an hour each way and wanted to catch up on my comics/reading. Alas didn’t see it in their App Store but was able to install by side loading and it works great

Still no console app, though. I did eventually buy a Roku for totally unrelated reasons, but the lack of console app means I have to haul the Roku downstairs if I want to watch anything with my husband. I'm so annoyed by the whole thing that I still haven't started the new Young Justice (and I love love love YJ).

So just to be clear, if all you have is a typical smart TV, you can't stream DC Universe on your television?

As of last week when I checked, no.  Also no to Kindle Fire and Xbox :(  -my main streaming devices are a smart tv, xbox one, and kindle fire-
If they would make it easier to watch I would get the service at least for a month to watch the new Titans, but I only have an actual computer at work.  I even got a free month through the wb a-list community and didn't use it because it wasn't convenient for me and I couldn't be bothered to watch during lunch breaks etc at work.

I have a laptop, a smart TV and a Samsung phone. That's it. It's a shame that they don't make it more convenient to watch. I was actually looking into it, but not if I have to buy more devices in order to watch. Oh well. I'm kind of sick of all of these streaming platforms anyway - Netflix, Hulu, DC Universe, CBS All Access, Amazon Prime; there are just too many. I'm already paying an arm and a leg for Comcast... I guess I should ditch the cable and pay for a Roku subscription.

You can side load the app onto your streaming device which is what I did for kindle fire.

Sideloading is installing an apk file via the device browser. This applies to android based devices.

So it looks like DC is walking away from a shared universe or at least not focusing on it for a while.
