What's the likelihood that my dissertation committee will be ok with an incomplete manuscript if I tell them my productivity plummeted this week because of comic con?

Really, though, I'm scared  :'(

I usually have a harder time after the show because of fatigue and work no fun after a week in happyfuncomicbookland.

I'm the opposite. SDCC is such a massive sensory/etc overload that for the next week or so I just want to focus on relatively quiet things like programming and house chores.

My job consists of either talking on the phone or being surrounded by a dozen other people talking on the phone for 8 hours a day.  Definitely not quiet lol.  And to top it all off, this year my first day back at work is my birthday. So hooray for that I guess.

As they say, "No rest for the wicked" (At least that's what would explain my life) :D
Happy (early) birthday!

My parents are coming into town the day after I get back so I have a few days of being a tourist in my own city before I have to go back to work.

I'm the worst employee ever today. I have an hour and 45 minutes left and I'm dying.  Please someone hit the fast forward button.
