Just so sad, I'm glad I'm off work today, I just want some time to grieve and years ago for Christmas my son bought me the original Star Trek episodes on dvd, I think I'm going to do some binge watching this weekend.

Between Mission: Impossible, In Search Of..., and Star Trek, Mr. Nimoy was a big part of my childhood. Not only was he a great actor & director, he was a great human being, too. I miss him already
Nathan Fillion said it well: "I have been, and shall always be... your fan. RIP Leonard Nimoy."

Like many folks here, this feels like the loss of a close friend, if not family. Many of us grew up on Star Trek and having him weekly into our homes made us all feel closer. Such a sad loss today.

So sad to hear this news, glad that we got to meet with him at SDCC a few years back.

A bright
star
has gone out. This is truly tragic news! He inspired many. Leonard Nimoy will be sincerely and greatly missed.

91X in San Diego just played the entire TOS theme in his honor. Choked me up.

Wow, thats so true Alyssa....
I really loved him as a kid, i looked forward to seeing him in star trek on those late night reruns and would plead with my mother to let me stay up.
She told me once about an old trekkie (trekker
) convention and how she just walked up to them all and got photos signed by the whole cast.
He was awesome and i just got to say....Go Bilbo!!

I was a TOS girl and Spock was always my favorite. I'm shattered.

They had a nice segment on CBS Sunday Morning, and closed the show with the TOS theme. Syfy is showing the TNG episodes with Nimoy, and then Star Trek VI.
So sad.
