Comi-Kev: Q&A with Kevin Smith- For like the millionth year in a row, Saturday at Comic-Con's not over 'til the fat lady sings...and that fat lady is @ThatKevinSmith! Taking the the Hall H stage like he takes the desserts off your lunch tray, the guy in the hockey jersey will A all of your Qs! Query about Comic Book Men, Spoilers, SModcast.com, his book Tough Sh*t, Jay & Silent Bob's Super Groovy Cartoon Movie, his Fat Man on Batman podcast, or just ask him about stuff he's got nothing to do with! But get ready to listen because this fatty is chatty! Warning: Kevin Smith throws around adult language like it's clever. It's not, but he loves it. A lot. Hall H

i gotta admit, i am looking forward to this.
I've heard so much abt his panels

They are great, but definitely R Rated. Nice thing is, you don't have to Wait in line to get in.

He definitely has the gift of gab. We saw him last year here in town, and then at Nerd HQ. DH also saw Red State-the ones where he was there for Q&A. We adore him! I am loving his Fatman on Batman podcasts. The ones with Mark Hamill are so much fun. Plus-Mark really gives him a run for his money in the gab department.

question Billy.....why don't you have to wait to get in? I would have thought the lineup to see him would have been super long. He is so funny and so smart.
-
We have so many opportunities to see him throughout the country-he often tours the country doing his Evening with Kevin Smith thing, etc.
I would love it if he did his Fatman on Batman thing live at SDCC.

a lot of people are camping out in Hall H for the entire day

He doesn't quite fill all of Hall H anymore. At least not the last 2 years. It's still pretty full, but you can walk in when it starts. I expect this year to be the same - i predict the room will clear out after Iron Man substantially. So unless you want a really close seat, you can arrive right as the panel starts.

I saw him at last year's Q&A, and the 2 hours just flew by, quite entertaining, spoke off the cuff, handled the questions well, and very funny.

Just curious, who happened to be at the Kevin Smith panel that was featured in Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope, when that dude proposed to his girlfriend?

I was there. It was really entertaining. And I fully expected to see the wedding last year - but it didn't happen at the panel as noted in the film.
My other big event in Hall H - I was 10 rows behind the famous "pen stabbing" and saw the guy who did it get hauled away by the police. And the guy injured rolled away on a stretcher - the stabbing was brutal. By far my most vivid memory of Comic-Con ever in 8 years of attending.

Last year, I literally sat behind the mic stand area for the audience members to ask Kevin their questions. People were bring Kevin stuff as well.
