I loved season 1! I lucked out with the Funko lottery in 2022 and got the jumbo Miss Minutes pop. Can’t wait for season 2!

New horror film “Longlegs,” coming out in the U.S. this summer July 12 (2024), maybe a possible panel at WonderCon?  The film features Nicholas Cage, Maika Monroe, Alicia Witt and Blair Underwood.  Directed by Oz Perkins, who appeared as an actor in “Psycho II” (1983), “Six Degrees of Separation” (1993), “Wolf” (1994), “Legally Blonde” (2001), “Not Another Teen Movie” (2001), “Secretary” (2002) and “Nope” (2022). Distributed by NEON.

Synopsis: FBI Agent Lee Harker is assigned to an unsolved serial killer case that takes unexpected turns, revealing evidence of the occult. Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he strikes again.

These three 30-second teaser trailers were released within the last couple of weeks.

Looks promising but I also said that about “Skinamarink” and was disappointed.

Ha, I know what you mean.  BUT, SKINAMARINK didn't star Nick Cage, so already this movie has A LOT of awesome going for it  ;)

Directed by Oz Perkins
Anthony Perkins' kid!  I haven't seen I AM THE PRETTY THING THAT LIVES IN THE HOUSE, but IIRC GRETEL & HANSON at least had its positives: not a perfect film, by any stretch, but I think it had good atmosphere and some good dark moments!  I do love a good cult/murder movie so here's hoping this is at least interesting

DEADPOOL 3, officially named DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE, trailer that dropped during the Super Bowl Sunday night:

1. Kinda dig they're leaning into the TVA as a means of putting Deadpool (and Wolverine, and some other Fox X-Men characters/actors/iterations like at least Pyro) into the MCU.  I wasn't sure if they'd be a little coy/subtle or what, but I should've known Deadpool is not one for subtlety.
2. Notice the 'Secret Wars' reference around the 2 min mark: clearly a Secret Wars comic (issue #5, w/Doctor Doom on the cover, to be exact) laying to the left of Wade in the wide shot before Wolverine's shadow appears
3. The character around 1:45 looks a little like a Doctor Doom soldier/minyan but I can't fathom Marvel/Disney would roll out their Big Bad so nonchalantly.  But fun times for fan debates nonetheless.

All in all, a fun enough trailer

There's been some speculation that the baddie is Cassandra Nova.

I love that the Deadpool teaser trailer didn't show too much Wolverine. Truly letting us salivate at the mouth until they show his final reveal in an official trailer.
