Are you asking about the lottery that's run by On-Peak?

I’m not quite sure. Lol but I’m sure the article posted will help

Can someone point me to the info board that talks about the lottery and how that works for SDCC? I'm a newbie, so I'm still figuring out the navigating part of it
Here is a good guide as well --  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I cannot believe it's been nearly three years now. Remember that time we thought this would be gone by Fall 2020? Oh, only me?  :P

Can anyone please refresh for me - does speed matter when filling out the hotel lottery form? I have memories of trying to frantically type in my name and info as fast as possible, but is it more based on entry time, that once your form loads up it doesn't matter if you submit in 10 seconds vs say 1 minute? Thank you  :)

Here is the quote from that 2019 article, that suggests that time does not matter it is just gaining access to the form at least in 2018. Is that how it was dealt with in 2019/20?

Quote
All reservation requests last year were processed in order of the timestamp that you gained access to the form, with phone reservations being processed in a random order.

I agree with Exhibitors having until the 20th that seems likely.

Twas the nights before Hotelpocalypse,
and all through the forum,
many con-goers were stirring,
but keeping up their decorum.

Yet soon there would be movement,
much communication and planning,
with spreadsheets galore,
and emails being sent like spamming.

Do I have my computer(s) right,
my hotels ranked in their list?
If I don't get the Bayfront,
I'm gonna be pi$$3d!

But we do this every year,
preparing for our trip out west.
And every time we go,
it's always the best!

So let's get this rolling,
pray your internet connection doesn't get the yips.
get your popcorn ready,
and bring on Hotelpocalypse :D

(the above brought to you by 2 hours of sleep and, at the moment, 3 coffees :D)

I'm really hoping they don't decide to give us super, super short notice this year or something because I'm on telephone standby for jury duty all next week.
