anyone who used uber or lyft or taxi last year (2022) - where were you able to be dropped-off and picked-up.
How long was the wait after daily closing usually?
I use a knee scooter, mobility issues, so the closer I can be dropped off the easier for me.
was not able to buy parking at convention center or bayfront..

Thanks

I believe that the Uber/Lyft dropoff place is the MGH.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

This is _GREAT_ advice, and I do this often when taking to trolly to Padres games.  It's a bit of an extra walk from the Gaslamp stop, but for an uber crowded event like SDCC it'll be worth it.

Remember, everyone, the trolly system has revamped their system a bit, so if you dl'ed the app last year it's no longer in use.  Go here for any trolly info: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
This year I've used to the trolly to go to some Wave soccer games (the NWSL soccer team), and was caught off guard the first time.  Once you have the app (or card, I guess, though when I caught the trolly at Fashion Valley mall the card dispenser wasn't working and phone app was the only way), it's an incredibly simple process.  There'll be discounted SDCC prices for folks who are using the trolly all week, which is going to definitely be the way to go.  For Wave games at the new Snapdragon Stadium, you have to scan your phone upon exiting the trolly after the ride, in what can be a fairly arduous experience (for a packed game, albeit only around 25-28k at the most when I've gone); I don't know what they have in the Gaslamp for this kind of thing - if everyone coming to Gaslamp/Convention Center trolly stop for SDCC will have to scan their phone in front of security or not (hopefully not).  In the past, I've admittedly _forgotten_ to activate tix that I've bought, and if a cop isn't checking that can be easy to do in some situations.  This is obviously better for the MTS, though sometimes tedious for its customers (though, again, not a _HUGE_ deal for Wave games & I've not gone to a Padre game yet this season on the trolly).

Those prices were GOLD! It was $16/person for 4 days of unlimited rides during SDCC. We used it extensively and it was a life-saver for attending parties at Parq and for getting to the Jurassic Park location.
