There were more people submitting for hotels than ever before and TP is having to use their maximum time allotted to process them all.

Too logical.  You're kicked out of the club.

We were all duped.  "TP" really stands for Toilet Paper, so expect your double ply Charmin or Quilted Northern confirmation email today.  Those of you who requested the Flushable Wipes, those are backordered.

Some irate person who didn't get 2014 SDCC badges hacked in to TP mainframe and plnted a virus which deleted all the submissions.

Or, someone forgot to pay the bribe money to have TP get it out in 48 hrs. Whose turn was it this year?

That is exactly how I always picture TP's offices in my head. I imagine they print out every request, leading to snowdrifts of paper everywhere... held down by coffee cups, staplers... in some cases inquisitive pigeons...

NerdHQ hacked into TP's computers and will only release the emails in exchange for a generous donation to their crowd funding campaign.

Not the kind of perk we were looking for.
